Oy Hedengren Security Ab acquires Nordic Safety Solutions AB. The acquisition strengthens the offering for critical societal functions and infrastructure in Sweden.
Oy Hedengren Security Ab has entered into an agreement to acquire the Swedish security installation company Nordic Safety Solutions AB. The transaction strengthens Hedengren’s offering for critical societal functions and infrastructure, where requirements for resilience, continuity, regulatory compliance, and security protection are particularly high. It also enhances the company’s competitiveness, as well as its capacity and expertise in access control systems and other security installations in Sweden.
For Oy Hedengren Security Ab, the acquisition strengthens local delivery capabilities in Sweden, particularly within Hedengren Access Management. It creates better conditions to scale operations, increase execution capacity, and offer customers within critical societal functions and infrastructure more integrated responsibility throughout the entire value chain—from design and installation to commissioning, service, and long-term system management.

Following the completion of the transaction, Nordic Safety Solutions AB will become a wholly owned subsidiary of Oy Hedengren Security Ab in Finland.

This is particularly evident in critical societal functions and infrastructure, where requirements for robustness, traceability, operational reliability, and regulatory compliance are high. At the same time, the market is demanding flexible and scalable access control systems with open standards, making it easier to integrate, upgrade, maintain, and further develop solutions over time.
The acquisition strengthens local capacity and market presence
Through the acquisition, Oy Hedengren Security Ab combines its system and product expertise with Nordic Safety Solutions AB’s local installation capabilities to strengthen its position in the Swedish market. The transaction creates better conditions to meet customer demands for local presence, high execution capability, and long-term service, while establishing a stronger and more scalable platform for advanced security solutions in Sweden. The acquisition also marks the launch of Hedengren Access Management in Sweden.

Hedengren Sverige AB will remain an independent company, fully focused on partner sales and engagement with specifying stakeholders in fire safety and emergency lighting products. The agreement with Copiax, signed during the spring, is an important step in further strengthening distribution in Sweden. For customers within critical societal functions and infrastructure, the transaction creates improved conditions for local presence, high delivery precision, and long-term system management.
