A unified Hedengren brand reflects the company’s growth into a Nordic service and expert organisation providing comprehensive solutions for security and wellbeing.
 
Founded in 1918, security and building services technology company Hedengren is one of iconic brands with a history spanning more than 100 years. The company has served its customers and partners through its subsidiaries’ brands – Hedengren Security, which develops security technology solutions, and Hedtec, a building services technology import and service company. With the new brand strategy, the Group will return to the original Hedengren brand across all business areas. The change will not affect the corporate structure.
 
For customers and partners, the change means an even clearer, more consistent and easier-to-understand whole. It reflects the owners’ ambition and the company management’s determined vision to strengthen Hedengren’s shared direction and identity, as well as its ability to respond to the challenges and opportunities of a changing operating environment.
 
“According to our new vision, Hedengren is a Nordic champion in high performing everyday safety and well-being solutions. By combining systems, data, services, expertise and support into a single, coherent end-user experience, Hedengren helps its customers build environments where safety, wellbeing and reliable business are delivered seamlessly. Sustainable and energy-efficient choices ensure that the solutions create long-term value for both users and property owners,” says Marketing Director Mirja Serkelä.
 
The unified brand is also a response to changes in the operating environment. Instead of separate solutions, customers need a partner that brings services, technologies and expertise together into a coherent whole. Hedengren’s aim is to evolve from a product- and technology-driven company into a service and expert organisation that delivers comprehensive added value to its customers. The ability to leverage data, integrations and expertise is key streamlining customers’ everyday work and creating new opportunities.
 
The goal for the unified brand is to support growth and new business areas in all markets. “A strong and unified brand makes it easier to operate in the Nordic markets. Although we are a Nordic company, we operate locally. Thanks to our extensive partner network and comprehensive offering, we can be a trusted, local partner for our customers,” Serkelä emphasises.
 
Going forward, brand unification and closer cooperation between the different business areas will be reflected for customers and partners in an improved service experience. Collaboration will also be strengthened by an upcoming move from Lauttasaari to new premises in Ruoholahti. The new, community-oriented premises have been designed to support open interaction, cross-team collaboration and everyday encounters between the different business areas.
 
Hedengren’s comprehensive solutions and renewed brand will be presented on 15–17 April at the Sähkö–Electricity 2026 trade fair at Messukeskus (Helsinki Expo and Convention Centre), stand 6d2. The new brand will also be featured at the Eliaden trade fair in Norway on 27–29 May and at SKYDD 2026 in Sweden on 20–22 October.
