Oy Hedengren Ab's Annual Review 2024 has been published

Oy Hedengren Ab has published its annual review for 2024, providing an overview of the company's operations and financial situation. CEO Marek Hintze describes 2024 as a challenging year from a commercial perspective but notes that thanks to the measures taken and the good work of the employees, the results can be considered a defensive victory.

The turnover for 2024 remained at the same level as the previous year, amounting to 64 million euros. The operating profit before taxes was 988 thousand euros (679 thousand euros in 2023). The turnover from international operations was 17.2 million euros.

The turnover from security technology increased by 3.6% from the previous year, reaching 33.8 million euros (32.6 million euros). The growth in turnover was mainly due to the recovery of equipment sales in Finland. Sales in Norway and Sweden were slightly below last year's levels, but exports to the United Kingdom recovered.

Hedtec's turnover decreased by 3.8%, amounting to 30.4 million euros (31.7 million euros). Sales of ventilation and heating products increased, and the service business also began to develop positively. As part of strategic development, Hedtec sold its tool business.

During the year, organizational changes were implemented in the group and its subsidiaries, leading to employee reductions. At the end of the year, Hedengren had 234 employees, slightly less than the previous year.

In 2024, the company also began working on a revised strategy, which was completed in January 2025.

Market outlooks remain uncertain, but Hedengren believes in its new strategy and is developing its business accordingly. The company aims to grow its business and improve the daily lives of both its customers and employees.
