FT-1 Disconnection timer

The FT-1 disconnection unit is a programmable electronic disconnection device for the temporary isolation of a fire alarm zone or smoke detectors. The timer is used in premises where temporary detector disconnection is necessary. Examples include loading areas, welding workshops, etc. The disconnection unit is equipped with a display and push buttons for setting the disconnection time. The display shows the remaining disconnection time in hours and minutes. When the remaining disconnection time falls below the pre-warning period, the pre-warning relay activates. A red LED flashes to indicate that the FT-1 is active. Desired settings are programmed using the unit’s push buttons and the instructions shown on the display. From version 1.5 onwards, a test programme is available for installation and commissioning tests. Within the disconnection product family, customised products such as LED units, displays and relays are available. The disconnection time can be adjusted from 0.5 to 8.5 hours.
